It’s a big deal when two of our favorite brands of all time collaborate on an exciting project, so when we heard that Gap and DÔEN were teaming up together, we knew it was going to be something major. Together, the two brands are collaborating to release a 51-piece collection that embodies and captures the idea of sisterhood, and the beauty and power within it.
Gap, the brand that defined the ’90s and early 2000s, is known for timeless classics that are always going to be in style. With that signature blue denim and breezy linen button-ups, we’ve been conditioned to spot pieces from the Gap from a mile away. DÔEN, a Californian women’s clothing label co-founded by sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland, embraces femininity and is inspired by vintage California aesthetics. With their collab, we’ll be seeing classic essentials and timeless femininity blend together.
With adult and children’s pieces such as ultra wide-leg khakis, billowing bell-sleeved denim jackets, floral dresses, and delicately constructed knits, it’s clear the two brands’ connected vision is brought to life through this collection. Leading the campaign are two sets of sisters, models Lily and Ruby Aldridge, and 11-year-old twin sisters Levia and Zahar. With sisterhood at the core and forefront of this collection, we couldn’t think of a better theme to embody the partnership of these two brands. Below, are our favorite pieces from the collection.
