From her 2022 Met Gala look to the purple branding in her merch, tour visuals, and record releases, Olivia Rodrigo and the color purple go hand in hand. Grab your favorite purple top out of your closet and pair it with a mini skirt, or opt for a purple dress paired with your old Doc Martens. The Livies will love it.
A cheeky graphic tee
So far, it seems like the unofficial Guts Tour uniform is a graphic tee paired with a sparkly mini-skirt. Since one of Olivia’s costumes includes a tank that says “I’m just a girl,” she’s given fans the go-ahead to wear the cheekiest baby tee possible as your concert outfit. Olivia Rodrigo merch is also a stellar option—her website strays away from typical merch and opts for baby tees, cropped tanks, and even denim jackets instead.
Silver and sequins
It seems like every major tour we’ve reported on in the past couple of years involves wearing head-to-toe glitter—but hey, we’re not complaining. We’d ordinarily say sequins and pops of silver would help you stand out from the crowd, but at the Guts Tour, it’ll actually help you blend in. Bonus points if you opt for sparkly tights, bedazzled fishnets, and a healthy dose of body glitter.
Hot pants
When we said hot pants were back, we weren’t joking around. Throughout her tour, Olivia’s costumes almost exclusively involve sparkly tights layered under hot pants. A concert is an excuse to have some fun with your outfit, and we’d say there’s no better way to get out of your comfort zone than by wearing a pair of barely-there pants. But fret not: Layering tights underneath will ensure you’re still comfortable all night long.
